Greetings frendonians! Let me start off by saying that I’m quite excited to be writing my first blog post for frendo as the new Community Manager based out of the Calgary, Alberta office.
Since I know you’re wondering, I’ll start with a little introduction about myself. My name is Crystal and I am ecstatic about joining the already stellar frendo team! The thought of bringing charities, people, and businesses together to create a community that is committed to causes is both exciting and inspiring. Helping to build awareness for charities in the community, while also offering them fee-free online donation options, is what I am passionate about and why I’m happy to be here.
As the Community Manager, my job will be to get out in the local community and start spreading the word about frendo and essentially get charities and people pumped up about this awesome company! This means that you will start to see my friendly face at events around Calgary, volunteering with different charities, and holding Get Together Give Together events with local businesses to raise awareness about different charities and how frendo can be of help to them.

So, keep your eyes peeled for my face around town at local events or volunteering with awesome charities. Also, watch closely for upcoming Get Together Give Together events in Calgary where you’ll be able to come out and support a local charity while networking with other passionate givers in your city. I’m excited for all the possibilities for Calgary and beyond with frendo and certainly hope you will be too!
