QBE Insurance Group, one of the worldwide leaders in the industry, recently made a sizable donation to one of the best-known charities in the world. The business presented Doctors Without Borders a $100,000 grant so it can continue to provide medical care to people across the globe.

The decision to award the grant was an easy one to make. The company's president and CEO John Rumpler said that the mission of Doctors Without Borders fits with the QBE Foundation's goals to help people live more independently and productively.

"Access to medical care is essential for people to be able to support themselves and their families," Rumpler said. "As an insurance company, we are dedicated to helping rebuild lives after disasters strike, so we are pleased to assist this extraordinary organization."

The grant will go to support a pair of programs including the Emergency Relief Fund, which helps provide much-needed medical care to people suffering form unexpected crises.
